Special Painted 1930s Gas Globe made by the Cincinnati Advertising Products Company. These globes are original and were made in the 1930s.There are no inserts and the sides, not shown here, are flat. What is important is this side seam. These globes came with a decal or painted, NEVER BAKED or etched!!! If you see this body frame with a logo baked onto this type of globe it is a reproduction. These always have six inch bases. I have seen globes like this very recently with company logos supposedly baked onto the surface. These are all reproductions!!
